Argus 40 / 60 / 80 Sensor Barriers

Argus 40 / 60 / 80 Sensor Barriers

The Argus line is Alvarado's answer for lobbies where appearance matters as much as access control. These are sensor barriers with clear glass swinging panels — they read as modern architecture, not security equipment. Three models (40, 60, and 80) cover different lane widths and barrier heights, so you can match the unit to the space instead of forcing the space to fit the unit.

Each lane pairs a slim cabinet with an optical sensor array that watches for tailgating and unauthorized passage. When someone presents a valid credential, the glass barrier swings open; if someone tries to follow through behind them, the system flags it. Standard and ADA-width lanes use the same cabinet dimensions, and cabinets can be shared between lanes to build out multi-lane arrays without a forest of pedestals.

Turnwell installs Argus lanes in corporate lobbies, elevator banks, and anywhere the front entrance has to impress visitors and still keep unauthorized people out. Finishes and lid colors can be matched to the surrounding interior, and the glass panels can be etched with a logo or left crystal clear.
